Quarterfinal clash set for 6pm local time, 12pm ET
Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany is set to host a mouthwatering quarterfinal clash as Spain and Germany prepare to do battle at the UEFA European Championships Euro 2024.
The match, which will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, is scheduled to kick off at 6pm local time (5pm BST, 12pm ET, 9am PT) and will be broadcast live around the world.
Spain, the reigning champions, will be looking to continue their impressive form in the tournament, having won all three of their group matches. Germany, meanwhile, will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to France in their final group game.
The two sides have met three times previously at the UEFA European Championship, with Spain winning twice and Germany winning. Their most recent encounter was in the semi-finals of the 2016 tournament, which Spain won 2-0.
The winner of this match will face either Italy or England in the semi-finals.
