If you enjoy the latest genYZ450F, you will like the new YZ450FX; they are very similar. The 2023 and 2024 Yamaha YZ450Fs finally turn with the best of the super-accurate brands. Yamaha pulled out all the stops last year with the introduction of an all-new YZ450F motocrosser. The bike was a major improvement over the previous model, and it quickly became one of the most popular motocross bikes on the market.
For 2024, Yamaha has taken the YZ450F and turned it into an off-road racing machine with the new YZ450FX. The FX model gets all of the same major updates as the YZ450F, including a new lighter frame, a more powerful engine, and improved suspension. However, the FX also gets some off-road-specific features, such as a wider ratio transmission, a larger fuel tank, and handguards.
We recently had the opportunity to ride the new 2024 Yamaha YZ450FX, and we were very impressed. The bike is incredibly light and agile, and the engine is incredibly powerful. The suspension is also excellent, soaking up bumps and providing a plush ride. Overall, the YZ450FX is an excellent choice for off-road riders who are looking for a bike that is both fast and fun to ride.
