Join the WEB Turtle Conservancy for a special day honoring these amazing creatures.
WEB Turtle Conservancy is hosting a special event to celebrate World Turtle Day on May 23rd. The day will be filled with fun activities, educational exhibits, and a chance to meet some of the amazing turtles that call the conservancy home.
One of the turtles that will be on display is Iona, a Loggerhead turtle who was first found washed up on a beach on the Scottish Island of Iona in January. Iona was rescued and brought to the conservancy, where she has been receiving care and rehabilitation. She is now doing well and is expected to be released back into the wild later this year.
